It Won’t Turn on—What Should I Do?
If your disposal suddenly won’t turn on, the motor may need to be reset. Look for a red button on the bottom of your unit. Simply press it and see if the motor starts working again.
If your system sounds like it’s jammed, look for the disposal wrench slot in the bottom-center of your system. If your disposal didn’t come with the proper wrench, you can purchase one at your local hardware store. Insert the wrench and turn it in a clockwise direction to try to unjam the disposal.
